The door control systems from KES GmbH & Co. KG are used to control the electric or pneumatic door drives of passenger trains. They meet all the usual market standards, such as EN 14752, and can be used in both new designs and modernisations.

In addition to an integrated obstacle detection system, the door control systems can also monitor the status of the connected doors via position switches.

It is also possible to process further input signals, e.g. from emergency releases or local opening buttons. In addition, various optical and acoustic signals can be activated to inform passengers before the doors start to move.

The door control units can be connected to a vehicle bus for diagnostic purposes. In addition to a Twin CAN connection, Ethernet or MVB interfaces are optionally available for this purpose. KES door control units also have interfaces for access with a service PC for maintenance and diagnostics.
