Valve Technology

Dump Valves ½“ and 1“

Solenoid valves are required in connection with wheel-slide protection processes. Apart from the safety and the specific requirements to the technical data, these valves have a quick response time.

The dump valves of the MV 20 family have the function to optimally adapt the brake cylinder pressure to the existing adhesion values. For this purpose, one dump valve per axle should be mounted.

In its standard version, the dump valve can be delivered with a ½“connection or a 1“connection.

Dump Valve with Separate Connection to Pressure Transducer

In order to monitor the brake cylinder pressure, separate pressure transducers are widely used. However, this type of application results in an increased demand for components in the spare parts inventory and in additional installation effort.

In order to eliminate both factors, KES GmbH & Co. KG has developed a dump valve with integrated pressure transducer which is able to measure the pressure in the brake cylinder with adequate accuracy.

Electro-Pneumatic Pressure Control Valves

Electro-pneumatic pressure control valves are used in various applications.

They control the operating pressure.

KES GmbH & Co. KG has several valves of this type which can be operated with various controls

(current or voltage).

Among those are electro-pneumatic transducers as proportional valves and electro-pneumatic transducers with command reservoir.
